Oversee operations of two car washes with different styles of production. Manage over 30 employees, 4 managers. Develop talent to promote from within as expansion continues. Full P&L responsibility. Negotiated mortgages and equipment loans. Maintains over 1M of equipment.

Being involved in expansion and takeover discussions of another location.

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

An opportunity to meet driven people with a interest in running businesses.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

After CWP, I took a position in sales management for a start up business. After relocation I took a position as an assistant GM and have climbed the ladder from there.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

The sales cycle CWP leaves you with gives you a great structure for future sales positions.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

Don't forget to think about why someone would hand you money. Make sure to follow through with the expectations that you set. If you are successful learn to teach others new skills.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Be ready, focused and disciplined. Everyday will be a learning experience. Communicate with your customers and unique opportunities will present themselves.
