CWP Career Impact

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

Steve Nelson was a transfer job and I was terrified to paint his house. He was very blunt and I thought he would never be satisfied, but throughout the whole process he was extremely helpful in giving constructive criticism. He still contacts me and I always thank him for letting me take the job and his insight on life.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

Everything that can go wrong probably will.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

It has taught me that we all are different and want different things from life, but we all are there to help each other and want to be successful.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

If you want to separate yourself from your peers this is a great opportunity to do it. However, it won't be easy and you will have to make sacrifices.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CWP. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

I don't want to ever be stuck in one career field and that is what I enjoy about college works. It opens doors to opportunities you wouldn't have thought possible.
