CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

CWP opened my eyes to the business world and how to manage several people and tasks at the same time.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

I am still in my senior year of college but have been trying to network and interview for full time positions after my graduation in May. The experiences I gained from CWP not only helped me as an individual, but also has helped impress potential employers and my current professors.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

In general, I appreciate all of the clients that were willing to give me a shot and help support my business. I couldn't have done any of this without you and I hope to run into you in the future.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

Even when it seems like you're in too deep with no way to complete the tasks at hand; keep calm, work hard, and it'll all work out in the end.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

It's been pretty recent since I finished so I think that info will come down the road.

If you had to come up with an one line slogan for CWP, what would it be? :)

World Wide Swag Masters, working together with Sherwin Williams to cover the earth with leaders of the new generation.

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

STAY ORGANIZED! Once your organization gets thrown off, get organized again and do your best to keep it that way. Falling behind is too expensive!!

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Don't be a coffee slinger and copy making ringer, get some life experience and let your industry consume the next 40 years of your life. But not until after you do CWP.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

That's a tough question to pin down a precise moment. Payroll Fridays were awesome and it was a good time to step away from the chaos, especially since everyone else was going through the same chaos as you were.

Last words of wisdom

Keep your chin up, head forward, and don't blink too much or you might miss something.
