Brief Description of Duties / Responsibilities

I am responsible for helping Fortune 500 companies manage, move, and protect data by providing technology solutions. I aim to provide valuable insight on projects and consulting on licensing needs so that enterprise organizations can overcome their business challenges.

What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

Landing a job at a Fortune 500 company.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

CWP was the hardest thing I ever did at the time, but put me so much farther ahead than my peers when it came to job interviews. I was debating who I should work for versus whether I could get a job or not.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

I learned some key behavioral traits that have carried me to a fast start in my first real job after graduation. Those early mornings knocking on doors during the weekends were key experiences in learning to get out of your comfort zone and make things happen. Those are traits any perspective employer will respect.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

Big full house full prime in Nipomo. Was one of my biggest jobs of the summer. I'd say thanks for your vote of confidence in me and I hope your house stays protected from the elements for many years to come.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

How you handle rejection and over come obstacles, trust me there's going to be quite a few of both during your CWP experience, will shape what kind of person you are in other jobs.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

Currently work in same industry as my VP at the time, Ken Shin, and hoping to interview with his company in the future. Climbing the corporate ladder with fellow CWP alums.

If you had to come up with an one line slogan for CWP, what would it be? :)

The hardest work you've ever done, for the most money you've ever made.

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

Put your head down, make it to the winners circle, and you'll look back on one of the best experiences of your young life.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CWP. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

I am in Sales and CWP gets you so much more prepared for inside/outside sales versus other internships out there it's almost unfair. It will be the hardest spring/summer of your life if you really apply your self but the lessons you will take away will carry you to whatever job in Sales/Management you could want.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Put in the work early so you can come to the table as a rookie and already add value.
