What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

Making the transition to be self employed, live on my own, and running an awesome business.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

It is the reason I can live the way others only dream of.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

I graduated about a year and a half ago. In that time, I've been on 6 vacations, teamed up with my District Manager form my intern year, Tom Heiler, in business and we are killing it in life. Doing well in business and living life to the fullest. None of this would be possible without signing that yellow piece of paper in my architecture history class.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

"Chase health, happiness and success in that order. The challenge is to get to the level of success you crave without sacrificing health and happiness" - Lulu The mentors and coworkers I had during College Works were amazing and I am blessed to now have such amazing friends.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

You have to learn to believe in yourself. You are the only person that can stop you from getting what you want in life. Work your tail off and never be scared to make mistakes. It's the only way to learn and continue to grow. Ignore the naysayers and keep fighting. It will be worth it. Work harder than everyone for a couple of years so that when you graduate, you are happy with your career.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Learn young, work hard, don't be scared to make mistakes and be open minded. College Works is the reason I am self employed at 23.
