CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

Where there's a will, there's a way.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Yes, was able start a sales career very easily and confidently.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

I don't remember the name but it was the last house we painted (2003) and they were super patient and kind to us.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

Anything is possible if you work hard.

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

Do it. It will toughen you up and show you what you are made of.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CWP. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

You will get all of your houses painted. I promise! Even if you have to work through October!

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

It's one summer and it will be much more challenging than any other internship experience. You'll be given real responsibilities rather than making copies for your boss.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

All of the friendships created and how deliriously funny we all were from a lack of sleep. Plus all of the rated R memories I'm not allowed to share :)

Last words of wisdom

Life's short; do everything once!
