What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

My proudest accomplishment would be buying my own duplex and renting it out. I have owned it for 3 years now and have a 100% occupancy rate. I plan to own 4 properties by the age of 32.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

CWP has taught me to take ownership of my actions and also how to act, think, and analyze as an owner not an employee.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

CWP has given me confidence to walk into a room and know that I can handle any situation that is thrown in my direction. This experience doesn't directly impact your career, it more importantly impacts your thought process which will help you professionally, personally, and spiritually (if you're into that sort of thing).

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

The greatest lesson I learned from CWP was how to relate to so many different people. More times than not the most successful person in the room isn't the smartest or the best looking. It is the person who can relate to everyone else and have them buy into their idea.

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

No matter how hard it gets just keep pushing ahead. You will meet plenty of adversity but a skilled sailor wasn't created in calm waters!

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

I really enjoyed the white water rafting trip in Jim Thorpe. Lots of laughs and jumping in filthy river water!

Last words of wisdom

I recommend this program as it shows the true character of a person. Will you manage painting crews after you get your degree? Probably not, but this allows you to figure out possible career likes and dislikes. Don't be afraid to take on a challenge as their are no bad decisions just learning experiences!
