Selling a variety of financial products with primary focus on life insurance.

What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

I coach the freshman football team at my high school (Nicolet) and we were 5-1-2 this year, which was the best team since my freshman team.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

College Works has taught me so much, it's hard to remember what I was like before College Works.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

It easily got me the position at Northwestern Mutual. I haven't graduated yet.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

I can't really pick one client, because I had a lot of good ones. But I would like to say to all of them, thanks for giving me an opportunity to prove myself and trusting in me.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

It's hard to say only one thing, but I would have to say work ability. Not just putting in the work, but actually planning stuff out and working smart AND working your butt off.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

The last 2 years, I have spent the most time hanging out with College Works people instead of my friends from high school.

If you had to come up with an one line slogan for CWP, what would it be? :)

Be Self Made.

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

It's a great internship, if you get a chance to do it, do it. Once you have the internship, work as hard as you can and ask for help or advice from your DM or successful teammates. It's the best opportunity you will get financially and developmentally. Don't blow it.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

The only reason I would think it would be advantageous to take an industry specific internship over College Works is if it's the summer of your senior year and its for your dream company. For example, I'm an accounting major so if PWC offered me a summer internship, I think it would be better then College Works only for the fact that more likely then not it will lead to full time employment.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

I booked a 10.5K job and my DM Adam was out of the country, so I called Kyle after I booked it. It was awesome.

Last words of wisdom

Do everything necessary so when you look back on College Works, you can say you did your best and you wouldn't change a thing.
