CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

CWP gave me the confidence I needed to move forward in my career.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Helped me to understand what my passion was. Also helped me to become a problem solver.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

Mary and Rob St Claire. They knew I was a young kid learning to run a business and they gave me supportive criticism which helped me become a better manager.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

Failure is only achieved when you stop trying.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

Still can count on my old DM to help me out whenever I need it.

If you had to come up with an one line slogan for CWP, what would it be? :)

Learn to handle stress by confronting it head-on with CWP.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

Don't give up.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CWP. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

Learning to become a leader is the best thing you can ever do for your life and career. That is what you will gain with CWP.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Never be complacent. You should always be looking for ways to improve your processes. Use your resources to do so, especially your people. Learn to lead and not manage.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

Too many to list.

Last words of wisdom

The harder the challenge, the more you will gain.
