What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

Earning the opportunity to help build a company in the Silicon Valley.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

It has sculpted my work mentality and has been the foundation of my professional career.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

It allowed me inclusion into a pool of candidates my senior year, immediately after graduation. The professional engine it built during my years in college is the same one that drives me at work.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

The Mannings on Emerald Vista in 2011. Thanks for your patience and letting me make mistakes and learn. Even though it was one of the toughest projects I had that year, it shaped how I learn and work for the rest of my life. Thank you!

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

Making an impact should be the greatest motivator -- not money. But expect the latter if you achieve the former, and be cool about it.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

My network played an integral part in my career post-CWP (past CWP alum gave me advice on the interview process, recruiter was good friend and former Regional Consultant, interviewer was former student painter).

If you had to come up with an one line slogan for CWP, what would it be? :)

CWP. Boom.

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

You can't control whether or not you are the smartest or most talented person -- but you're in full control of whether or not you are the most hard working. Luckily, the last attribute is the best indicator of success.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Learning to thrive in a performance-based environment is invaluable no matter what career path you choose.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

During my junior year, I met a student who told me CWP provided no value. I then spent the rest of the year running a business while he made me Carnitas burritos at the school cafeteria. Also, hanging out and having a great time with my interns and exec team.
