Brief Description of Duties / Responsibilities

Basically I am the Nike Better World representative of the Nike Company Store. I am in charge of organizing volunteer opportunities as well as charity donations with community partners in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area.

What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

Hitting my 1-year anniversary with Nike.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

With CWP I was able to learn what hard work really is, what my strengths and weaknesses are, and how to overcome obstacles of success.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Immediately, CWP gave me an extreme amount of confidence and that confidence has carried over through my career so far. After walking into dozens of stranger's houses and selling yourself, job interviews seem easy.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

I just want to thank all of my clients for having confidence in me as a manager and working with me as I learned.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

Time management is the greatest skill that I improved during my intern years with CWP. A few times I learned the hard way, but CWP was a great avenue to improve that skill.

How has the friendships and networks you built during CWP affected you?

The friendships are one of the best things that I took away from CWP. I'm still in contact with many of them and look forward to seeing where all of our careers take us.

If you had to come up with an one line slogan for CWP, what would it be? :)

It's a bit cliche, but spot on: work hard, play hard

What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

My biggest advice would be listen and learn from the people ahead of you. Veteran Interns, DMs, and VPs are the greatest resource you have.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

As I said previously, no matter what career field you are interested in, CWP is going to sharpen skills necessary for that job.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

There are two: The first is a weekend that I booked over $10k The second is my trip to Cancun. Best time of my life.

Last words of wisdom

All of the skills that you learn during the internship with CWP translate directly to whatever career path you pursue.
