Brief Description of Duties / Responsibilities

Lead a front-line supply chain business unit that includes distribution centers and auxiliary product locations throughout Michigan. Emphasis on financial planning, leading and developing teams, and providing high-level service to for our route sales partners.

What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?

Contributing to our Region winning 7 of the 11 Frito-Lay National Awards for our function in 2012 and being able to celebrate the accomplishment with all of our front-line team members.

CWP Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CWP meant to you?

CWP launched my career as an effective manager of both people and business.

How did your CWP experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Immediately after graduation: It truly set me apart from others from a resume standpoint. Having experience leading teams and running a business unit was invaluable in the interview process. Now: I have a lifelong network of successful, motivated people to reach out too.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CWP experience?

People are the most important asset of any business.


What advice do you have for potential CWP participants? Current CWP participants?

Learn to develop positive relationships with people, it will be invaluable in all that you do in your career.

What's your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Don't be afaid to challenge the status quo. Be an ambassador for change.

What's your favorite memory from CWP?

Working with a customer to allow us to paint his fascia boards black all the way around his white brick house with white gutters. It looked awesome. Also, my brother got stuck on a chimney about 40ft in the air because he was too afraid to step back down onto the ladder which was priceless.
